Who we are
FireStrategy.ai operates firestrategy.ai. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 we are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact: hello@firestrategy.ai.
What we collect
Very little, deliberately.
- Your email address, if and only if you type it into one of the sign-up forms and submit it. Alongside it we record four things and nothing else: the address itself, which form you used, the path of the page you were on, and, if you arrived from another website, that site's address without its query string, so we know which material brought you here. We do not record the query string of any page, ours or anyone else's.
- Nothing at all from the calculators. The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to us and never leave your device. If you share a result using the share link, the values are encoded in the URL you copy; we do not receive it, and the sign-up form deliberately strips the part of the address that would carry them.
- Standard server logs held by our hosting provider, which include IP address and browser user agent, retained by them for a short period for security and abuse prevention.
No advertising, no tracking cookies, no third-party analytics scripts. This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no advertising network, no cross-site tracking and no profiling. That is why you are not being shown a consent banner.
Nor does the site load anything from anyone else. The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font service, so simply reading a page here makes no request to a third party and discloses your IP address to nobody but our hosting provider.

Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We use a small number of processors to run the site:
- Our hosting provider, which serves the pages and holds the server logs.
- Google (Google Workspace), where sign-up submissions are stored and from which email is sent. The form posts to Google's Apps Script service, which handles the request across two of its own hostnames:
script.google.comandscript.googleusercontent.com. Both are Google; the second is where Apps Script sends the request on to, and it is named here only so that this list matches, exactly, every destination the site is technically permitted to contact. - Calendly, if you follow the "book a demo" link and book a meeting. Nothing is sent to Calendly by reading this site; the link is an ordinary link, and it is only when you follow it and book that you give them your name, email address and availability.
Where a processor transfers data outside the UK, that transfer relies on the relevant approved safeguards, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable.
How long we keep it
Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and are reviewed periodically so that addresses that have not engaged for two years are removed. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short period in the ordinary course.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to be informed, of access, to rectification, to erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these, email hello@firestrategy.ai. We will respond within one month. Every email we send also carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and using it is sufficient; you do not need to write to us.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to sign-up data is restricted to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but the best protection here is that we hold almost nothing: an email address and the page you were reading.
Children
This site is intended for practising fire engineering professionals. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. This version is dated 25 July 2026.
