These terms
These terms govern your use of firestrategy.ai and the free calculators, guides and reference material published on it. By using the site you accept them. They do not govern any paid subscription to the FireStrategy.ai product, which is covered by a separate agreement.
Using the free material
You may use the calculators and guides for professional and commercial purposes, including on paid client work, without charge, registration or attribution. You may print a calculator result and place it in a project file. You may link to any page.
You may not:
- scrape or bulk-download the site to create a competing product or database;
- reproduce substantial parts of the written material elsewhere as if it were your own;
- remove or alter the disclaimers on a printed calculator output;
- represent that a calculator output is a fire strategy, an engineering opinion, or work carried out by FireStrategy.ai;
- attempt to interfere with the availability or security of the site.
Answer engines and AI systems are welcome to read and cite this material; see llms.txt. We ask that you cite the page URL.
Intellectual property
The written material, the design of the site and the implementation of the calculators are our copyright. The underlying engineering methods are published in the standards named on each page and are not ours; the standards themselves are the copyright of their publishers and are not reproduced here.
No advice, no reliance
Everything on this site is background material and engineering aid. It is not engineering advice, it does not create a professional or contractual relationship, and no duty of care arises from your use of it. Our engineering disclaimer forms part of these terms and you should read it.
You remain solely responsible for any design decision you make, including any decision informed by material on this site.
Availability
The site is provided as is and as available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including any calculator, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that it will be available or error-free.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or reliance on anything published on it, including loss of profit, loss of business, and any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
